BRIDGEPORT - A man was burned from a kitchen fire that broke out in his Carroll Avenue home Sunday afternoon.
The blaze also displaced four people, including three teen-aged children.
Shortly after 4 p.m., firefighters responded to the 300th block of Carroll Avenue.
Upon arrival, firefighters found a small kitchen fire on the second floor. The fire was extinguished quickly.
One adult male was burned on his arm, feet and legs. He was transported to Bridgeport Hospital for treatment.
The fire marshal is investigating the cause and origin of the blaze that caused damage to the floor and wall.
Those who were displaced are staying with family.
